Day in the Life

Staff and learners start arriving at school  for academic day.

Academic staff meet for reflection and general staff meeting to plan day ahead.

School bell rings for the start of the day and learners meet in FET and GET quads for morning reflection and announcements. First register taken

First lesson for the day commences. Thursdays the entire school (Primary and High School) go to Mass at St. Anne’s Parish.

Second period of the day

Third period  of the day. On Tuesdays the High School gather together in the school Hall for Assembly.

Tea break.  Learners rush to the school tuck shop to buy their eats or have their packed lunches from home.

End of break, learners meet in FET and GET quads for Mid-morning reflection and general announcements

Home room – Mentor teachers and learners meet to consolidate registers and do administrative business.

Period 4, 5 & 6

Lunch – boarders rush to the Boarding House dining hall to have  lunch,  day scholars enjoy their packed lunches from home or the ‘meal-of-the-day’ from the tuck-shop.  Learners change for afternoon activities.

Start of the afternoon programme as learners meet in FET and GET quads for afternoon reflection, announcements and then go off to their afternoon activities.

Learners partake in the afternoon programme designed to accommodate each learners needs. Activities include choir,  Marimbas, soccer, netball, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, drama, rugby, speech and drama, Rotary Interact Club, chess and other board games and extra classes in subject learning areas.

School ends and day scholars leave in their public transport or parents collect from school.
