All Are Welcome

Dominican has always been a school that welcomes and nurtures all who demonstrate a real desire to belong to our community, and we are all the richer for this. Our philosophy has always been that we learn from each other. We have welcomed a learner into Grade 8 who suffers from the extremely rare ageing condition, Progeria. Ontlametse Phalatse will be a boarder at Dominican and we have already seen her experiencing the warmth and welcome that so many of us associate with this school. Her desire is to be as ‘normal’ a teenager as possible within the confines of her condition and we feel privileged to be able to assist her in this quest as we do for all our children. We thank Nedbank for supporting her in our community.
